With the development of internationalization of education, an increasing number of international students have studied Chinese in our University. We sincerely welcome foreign students to study Chinese with  us.

The college offers Chinese and culture refresher programs and various kinds of Chinese training courses for international students all year  round.  Primary, secondary, and advanced Chinese training, as well as HSK test training are available, and various custom Chinese courses are  provided  based on requirements. The Chinese and culture programs for international students are designed by the highly qualified faculty of the International College, which offers language skill courses and language with cultural knowledge courses. The aim is to help students rapidly improve their Chinese levels, lay a strong academic foundation and therefore cultivate  students' comprehensive quality.

·1   Basic Requirement

Non-Chinese citizens holding valid foreign ordinary passports

2. Physical Condition and Medical Examination

In good health, meets the health examination standards of applying for a student visa or residence permit in China.Freshmen shoud are required to Medical examination in Guangdong International Travel Health Care Center will be arranged for freshmen after registration. Unqualified students will be rejected.

3. Age Requirement

18-50 years old

4. Other Requirements

The applicant should be friendly to China, honest, law-abiding, respects the customs of Chinese people and has no record of violating university rules, public security punishment or criminal record.

According to the different types of Chinese language, we offer the following different classes：

2. Short-Term Language and Culture Programs (Primary, Secondary, and Advanced) and Customized Programs

Students will be able to accomplish certain communication tasks, master the corresponding language elements, language skills and relevant cultural knowledge, and improve their Chinese communication competence after intensive training for a short term（4-8 weeks）. A Class will be  arranged  if a minimum of 10 students enroll in the program. The timetable and the tuition fee of the programs are negotiated by teachers & students can be customized according to the actual requirements.

The registration fee（RMB 450） includes the cost of enrollment consultation, document processing, etc., that is non-refundable once submitted.

International student apartments are furnished with air conditioner, independent toilet, bathroom and network available. The accommodation fee is RMB 2500/student/one semester (on a twin-sharing basis) .

Living expenses are approximately RMB 6000 – 7000/One semester(depends on actual situation of each student) .

Expenses include daily costs for food, transportation, communication, etc.

6. Medical Insurance Premium

RMB 400元/One semester

According to the 'Provisional Regulations for Compulsory International Student Insurance at Higher Institutions of Learning' issued by theEducation Ministry of the P.R China, international students in China must buy a group comprehensive insurance sold in Mainland of China (including free of particular average, personal accident insurance, medical insurance)，at least cover accidental injury and hospitalization. The insurance should be bought upon registration. Otherwise, the registration will be rejected. Students who have been admitted should submit the insurance certificate issued by the insurance company to DGUT. The insurance certificate should be in  English or  Chinese.

Application Procedures

1）Application Submission

Methos2 : Add official Wechat student consultation account (studyatDGUT), and send application form and application materials to the account.

2）Review application materials.

3）Issue letter of admission and revelant materials for visa application.

4）The applicant applies for the student visa at the appropriate Chinese embassy in their country by producing the letter of admission and JW202/DQ form.

2. Enrollment and Visa Application

According to relevant laws and regulations, after the application of a student is received, the college will conduct the initial review and apply for JW202/DQ form (Visa application form for study in China), it will take about 1 months for all the procedure. Student please fill in your own email address that is frequently used by yourself when apply for this   programme, and then pay careful attention to the email box. If students are enrolled, the emails of admission confirmation will be received. JW202/DQ form (Visa application form for study in China) could only be   downloaded and printed by the students yourself through the links in  the  emails of admission confirmation. Admission Notice will be sent to  the  students as required. Students should apply for Student’s visa (X1 or X2 visa) to the Chinese embassy or consulate in your own countries with JW202/DQ form and Admission Notice, then come to the college to register as required.
