On the morning of May 16th, bathed in gentle sunlight and cradled by a soft breeze, nearly 30 faculty and student representatives from the International College of Dongguan University of Technology stepped into the International Collaboration and Innovation Zone of the university with great anticipation. The International College is set to relocate here next semester, and this visit undoubtedly offered the faculty and students an early glimpse into the mystery of their upcoming "new home."

Guided by Wang Chunfeng, the Deputy Director of the General Affairs and Logistics Department, along with a group of staff members, teachers and international students entered the International Cooperation & Innovation Zone.

In front of the layout plan of the new zone, Minister Wang gave a comprehensive introduction to the faculty and students of the college regarding the functional zoning and future development blueprint of the International Collaboration and Innovation Zone. It was explained that the design of the new zone is grounded in the philosophy of "coexistence between nature and wisdom," seamlessly blending with the original landscape and organized around a dynamic central axis to create five core areas. The green spaces within the new zone are densely planted with yellow tabebuia trees. When these trees burst into full bloom next spring, the entire zone will be awash with a vibrant sea of tender yellow, exuding the lively essence of spring and undoubtedly infusing this campus area with a distinct vitality. The faculty and students listened attentively, occasionally posing questions and engaging in lively interactions.

Students toured the international student dormitories. Entering the spacious, bright corridors, they immediately noticed the modern decor. Dorms are fully equipped with private bathrooms, air conditioning, study desks, and wardrobes, offering a comfortable living space. During the visit, students praised the high-quality facilities and expressed excitement for their upcoming life here!

Upon arriving at the office and teaching areas, a refreshing breeze greeted them. The modern architectural style and bright indoor spaces sparked boundless imagination among the faculty and students. From the outdoor corridors, one could enjoy a panoramic view of the new zone, where the well-arranged cluster of buildings complemented the central landscape belt, creating a vivid picture of a thriving campus that was slowly unfolding before their eyes. The faculty and students paused to take photos one after another.

During the tour, students’ eyes sparkled with excitement, eagerly anticipating the relocation to the new zone next semester. "I’m so thrilled to study and live in such an amazing environment next term!" exclaimed by Katrina, an Australia student. "With new teaching buildings and abundant international resources, my learning experience is getting a total upgrade!"

Do Thanh Phuong, a Vietnamese student, shared: "The new campus marks a fresh start. I’ll dive into my studies with more enthusiasm, leverage the resources here, push myself to grow, and deepen my understanding of Chinese language and culture."

This visit not only provided all teachers and students of the International College with a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the newly constructed International Cooperation and Innovation Zone, but also ignited boundless aspirations for life on the new campus.

It is believed that next semester, armed with this anticipation and enthusiasm, teachers and students will work together on this hopeful land of the International Cooperation and Innovation Zone to propel the International College towards new heights of glory.
