On the morning of 29th October, Wayne John Johnson, Director of International Campus and International Affairs Office of NHL-Stenden University, Hagenbeek, Financial Director, and Maureen van der Meché, Senior Project Manager of International Campus visited Dongguan University of Technology (DGUT) under the company of Eelco Galama who is a teacher teaching minor course in DGUT. Mr. Yang Minlin, Vice-president of DGUT, and leaders from International Communication Office and International College received our guests warmly and held meetings with them. During the meeting, both parties reviewed the overall progress of DGUT Campus of NHL-Stenden University, and made arrangement for the arrival of the next batch of students.

At the beginning of the meeting, Vice-president Yang Minlin extended his warm welcome to the guests from NHL-Stenden University, and introduced the situation of DGUT to undertake the minor course program. The leaders from International College made a introduction of the program operation from the following aspects: course arrangement, teacher allocation of DGUT, student participation of DGUT, enterprise visit and campus activity participation of students from NHL-Stenden University. In addition, both parties made a summary and discussion on the above-mentioned issues.

During the visit, the representative of DGUT had a discussion with teachers and students from NHL-Stenden University, listened to their opinions on minor course study in DGUT, and gave feedbacks regarding to their opinions. DGUT has selected high-level teachers with rich teaching experience from College of Economics and Management and International College to participate this joint education program, and selected 9 outstanding students from College of Economics and Management to pair with students from NHL-Stenden University, to prepare business plans and establish an international team to take part in the Internet+ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. Furthermore, DGUT has cooperated with local enterprises, such as Huawei and Guangda We Valley, to provide various opportunities for students of NHL-Stenden University to visit enterprises.
